Police Chief Gilbert gives a report regarding 2009 Crime/Activity Statistics. Chief Gilbert also gives a report on recent complaints to AZ POST regarding the Quartzsite Police Department.
Town Manager Alex Taft gives a follow up report to Chief Gilbert’s report and statements regarding the complaints against the Quartzsite Police Department.

COMMUNICATIONS/PETITIONS & CITIZEN COMMENTS: (call to the public)
Ms. Rain Shanana Golden Bear, The Desert Messenger, gives a brief report to Council regarding her online survey regarding the possibility of a prison in Quartzsite.
Mrs. Joyce Snyder thanks Council and everyone who has helped her with all the cats and kittens she had to take care of and find homes for. Mrs. Snyder also comments on the 4-way stop sign very recently install on Plymouth Avenue and Quail Trail.
Ms. Carolyn Guthrie reports that the disc golf course in the park is ready to be used and is open to the public.
Mr. Ed Foster questions Council about the survey crew that was working on the street entrance to Q Mountain Estates. Mr. Foster wants to know if the Town is taking over those streets now.
