The Town of Quartzsite is proud to offer transit services to the Quartzsite community since 1992.  Camel Express currently operates curb to curb demand response service with two buses that are fully equipped with wheelchair lifts,  service is available to the general public.

Camel Express bus operators are trained to render assistance if needed. The buses are kept clean and well maintained. 


Please reserve rides for next day service up to 7 days in advance for both local & regional trips.


Camel Express operates Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. with the last pick up of the day at 4:00 p.m. excluding all Federal holidays.  Local service on Monday through Friday. With regional service on Tuesday to Parker/Lake Havasu City, Thursday to Yuma, Monday, Wednesday and Friday to Ehrenberg, AZ/Blythe, CA.

All scheduling is based on a first come first serve basis.

Additional Information
Transit services are funded by Arizona Department of Transportation through the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 funds and the Town's General Fund. 
In addition, funding to support the WACOG senior ticket program is provided in part or whole by grants through the Administration on Aging, the Arizona DES-DAAS and WACOG-AAA.
